Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SBAN) was registered on 25/01/2051 under Kathmandu Chief District Officer by the stock broker companies of Nepal. The main purpose of establishing SBAN is to create unity, solidarity and healthy communication among the members and to make their reasonable interest reachable to the concerned authorities, investors and the public which ultimately helps to make Nepalese Capital Market stronger. It is situated at the heart of Kathmandu i.e Putalisadak with the aim to make it convenient for it members to hold meetings and discussions whenever needed. There are all together 50 stock broker firms in Nepal with 41 branches outside the valley and all the 50 brokers are members of SBAN.
With great pride, I take up the role of the President of Stock Brokers Association of Nepal. Ever since its establishment in 1994, we have been through many ups and downs which has made us stronger and better. Indeed, the growth of SBAN is the collective effort put in by the members and all the past presidents. There will be many hurdles in the coming years too but with your support and dedication, I am ready to accept the upcoming challenges.
SBAN remains committed to collaborating closely with all its stakeholders of the industry to create a healthy and prosperous capital market. We will continue to ensure excellent service for our customers considering what can be done to meet their expectations.
During the next two years, SBAN will work to accomplish the ongoing tasks and continue to address issues that might come in the future.
